[two_third] Traditionally Valentine’s Day is known as a day for lovers but now that you’re a parent it is the perfect time to start some new traditions with your children. It is a day for love, a day to tell those you love how much you love them.

Start a new tradition with your children on Valentine’s Day; find a way to share the love with your whole family! Here are a few ideas:

  1. Decorate their bedroom door with some streamers for a fun surprise when they wake up in the morning.
  2. Make a Valentine’s Day themed breakfast.
  3. Have everyone in the family make each other cards and write one thing they love about each other.
  4. Call extended family members and tell them that you love them.

How do you plan on celebrating Valentine’s Day with your children?

This year is my sons 2nd Valentine’s Day! He was less then a month old for his first one. I’m not really sure what I’m going to do special. I spend everyday with him as it is and he isn’t really old enough to understand yet! Maybe I’ll buy some strawberries for a fun food for us to eat together.
