Lord of the Wings

Yes, World Wide Web Wacky Wing Wednesday. WWWWWW. This is where I will surf the Web, and find other people talking about chicken wings. The world is full of chicken wing stories, wacky and otherwise. Recipes, restaurant reviews, eating contests or whatever. Today’s Blog relating to wings in some shape or form:

I don’t have children, but when I do, this is the new toy for them! Little toddlers need to chomp, and why not have them chomp on . . . chicken wings.

Outnumbered 3 to 1

These are hilarious! The twins are 8.5 months and almost finished popping through their second bottom teeth. Any parent that has gone through teething knows what it’s like- and most parents that are on the brink of teething kids are bracing for it. It’s not fun..for them, for us- so here’s a couple of unique teethers that make light of a not so fun situation.
The boys love them, and I have to admit it looks a lilttle unconventional to have your 8 month old appear to be chomping on a chicken wing or a spare rib…good times! Even my 2 year old has to get into the act and sink his teeth into them from time to time. I’m pretty happy with them as well because both teethers are Non-Toxic, BPA Free, Lead Free, PVC Free, and Phthalate Free (Please ignore that C has a wet diaper in his rib chomping shot!).

The Father Life magazine

Teether from Little ToaderFor the past few months I have been able to learn more than I ever thought I could learn about being a dad. Changing diapers, preparing formula, shopping for girl’s clothes, etc. Over that time there have been a few things that have proven indispensable. I am proud to say that the products from Little Toader have helped make the growth of my baby girl that much more pleasant.

The company was started by a family in Florida that was inspired to make products for children that were safe and entertaining while providing an avenue for growth and development (paraphrase of their “About Us” page). They offer a small selection of products, being a new company, and the products are solid. I was sent a teething toy and their storybook PJs to review.

InRandom – Little Toader Appeteethers – BBQ Rib

logoThe Appleteether BBQ Rib is just so neat! Let me tell you all how much my children loved the ribs. My thirteen year old smiled with pride (you know guys and their ribs). My seven year old little girl just giggled herself almost to tears as my seven month old went to town on it! He chewed one side and then the other and as he was chewing he was growling. It was such a sight to see! He would look up from time to time so I could get a picture.

Formula Mom – Things We Love

We are in the thick of it with teething here at our house. W has his two bottom teeth and is working on about 3 more, I think. He’s been teething since he was about 4 months old. It’s been quite a journey. Most recently, I think it’s effected his sleep schedule. He used to sleep straight through the night, only needing to eat once (and more recently not until he woke up). Now he is sleeping but waking to eat at least twice. The one blessing is that he doesn’t wake up and stay awake. Thank goodness!
